This article is about mobile clean room containers – a flexible solution for clean space capacity that has recently gained notable popularity in the clean room industry. To get an…

Imagine a portable cleanroom you can deploy anywhere. Do you need a test lab at a remote location? Do you need extra clean room capacity quickly? Do you need to transport a clean room by sea? Mobile cleanrooms can do all that! These portable versions are built into standard 10′, 20’ or 40’ HC containers that have universal attachment points, facilitating simple shipping by road or sea. Only an adequate source of power is needed to operate the mobile cleanroom container.
Our cleanroom mobile workstations are typically certified to ISO08 or ISO07 according to ISO14644, providing a controlled, clean environment for most applications.
KleanLabs® mobile cleanrooms comply with the requirements of biological laboratories, military or medical labs. The interior layout is fully customizable to meet specific customer requirements.

Special needs can be met by equipping the KleanLabs® mobile cleanroom container with an internal IT network, a camera system or sterile washbasins.
Our colleagues are happy to inform you about the full range of customization options.

All units are built with KleanLabs 60/100 mm sandwich partition wall panels.

Every container includes a dedicated cleanroom HVAC system with adjustable temperature and humidity, operated via an integrated touch-panel control interface.

All cleanroom container configurations are fitted with built-in H14 HEPA filters to provide high-efficiency air filtration.

Each model features a full cleanroom-grade LED lighting system.

Every unit is delivered with integrated wall outlets for AC power and Ethernet connectivity.

Ceiling and wall junctions are finished with internal radiused corner covings across all models to support easy cleaning and hygienic operation.

Each cleanroom container, including the extension units, is built on a robust, wind- and weather-resistant intermodal container body.

The structures are engineered for transport in accordance with ISO 668:2020 requirements.

The materials and finishes used throughout the cleanroom container range are compliant with ISO 14644 and are suitable for use in GMP Grade C–D environments.

If you need a cleanroom only for a limited time or specific project, KleanLabs offers rental options for its mobile cleanroom containers. The same high-quality, ISO-compliant units are available for short- and long-term leasing, providing full flexibility without permanent investment.
The interior layout is custom-designed for each project, including workbenches, storage cabinets and integration of process equipment. Utilities such as power, data, gases or vacuum can be routed to dedicated points according to your equipment list.
You need a level, load-bearing surface and truck-accessible roads with adequate clearance. On site, a crane or heavy-duty forklift must be available to position the container. Our team can advise you on handling and site preparation for your specific project.
The containers are suitable for both outdoor and indoor installation. Indoor placement only requires sufficient door opening size, floor load capacity and space for air intake/exhaust and maintenance access.
HEPA filters should be tested regularly (integrity tests according to ISO and GMP) and replaced when leak tests or pressure-drop trends indicate a loss of performance. In practice, many facilities work with replacement intervals from around 1 to 3 years or longer, depending on cleanliness class and load. KleanLabs can advise on testing and replacement strategy and supply compatible filters. For a deeper overview you can also read our article about the HEPA filter replacement guidelines on the KleanLabs blog.
KleanLabs organizes delivery worldwide. Positioning on site is the customer’s responsibility, but we can provide support on request.
